Fabrics that enhance closeness
Since fabrics are such an important part of our products, we develop the majority of our fabrics in-house. This allows us to ensure that our fabrics have unique properties and high and consistent quality. And since we make products for the smallest and most delicate humans, all our fabrics obviously need to be both kind to sensitive skin and safe to taste. This is why all materials that come in contact with your child’s skin meet the requirements of OEKO-TEX Standard 100, Class 1 for baby products. OEKO-TEX is an independent testing and certification system for textiles and accessories. If you’d like to know more, you’ll find all the information at www.oeko-tex.com.
One of the most important aspects of our fabrics is that they enhance baby-parent closeness. We want you to be able to feel that your baby is sitting in the right position and to be able to gently stroke your baby’s back, in almost the same way as when you’re skin to skin.
3D Mesh—a soft and flexible fabric that breathes
Our 3D mesh consists of 100% polyester and is a supersoft, flexible fabric that dries quickly after washing. It’s a high-tech, breathable fabric, so it stays pleasantly cool when you’re babywearing. The tactile qualities of our 3D mesh enhance the closeness between you and your baby, and the high quality of the fabric ensures that the baby carrier retains its shape, wash after wash. If you want a baby carrier in mesh, you can choose between Baby Carrier Harmony, Baby Carrier Mini, Baby Carrier Move or Baby Carrier One Air.
3D Jersey—a super-soft fabric that gently hugs your baby
3D jersey is our softest and most velvety material. It’s a stretchy fabric that gently hugs your baby. Our 3D jersey is made up of three layers, with the middle layer consisting of a fine, single-fibre thread. The different layers give the baby carrier stability, while the fabric breathes and releases excess warmth. Our 3D Jersey consists of 80% polyester, 16% cotton and 4% elastane. If you want a baby carrier in 3D jersey, choose Baby Carrier Mini.
Cotton—a comfy and flexible fabric in a satin weave or cotton blend
Our satin-woven cotton is super-smooth and comfy. A thin padding makes the fabric feel light and flexible. Choose Baby Carrier Mini if you want a baby carrier in satin-woven cotton.
Our cotton blend is soft and flexible. It’s a blend of 60% cotton and 40% polyester. If you want a cotton blend fabric, choose Baby Carrier One.
Soft and Lustrous Woven
Our woven blend is durable and super soft, with a rich, lustrous finish. It consists of 65% recycled polyester and 35% cotton.
Choose Baby Carrier Mini if you want a baby carrier in soft woven.
